Be Creative @ The Brandon Public Library
“Read Your ART Out” is the theme of this year’s Brandon Public Library’s Summer Reading Program. The library will host professional performers every Wednesday from July 1-22, 2009 with a special party on Friday, July 24 at the Depot Park, to conclude our Summer Reading Program.
All childrens' programs are free, last an hour, and are for all ages.
The Library is also teaming up with local creative individuals for a teen and adult creative series, “Express Yourself” on Thursday nights starting July 2-16 @ 5pm.
All teen and adult programs are free, run an hour and are for ages 13-99.
Starting in June, we are daring all children and teens to read 15 titles or for 6 hours. With each completion of a reading record, a free ticket for a scoop of Culver’s custard will be awarded (while tickets last), a free ticket to the Bristol Renaissance Faire and a ticket to the Milwaukee Planetarium, as well as a prize from our Mystery Chest. On July 24th, at the end of the program, the top 6 readers with the most Reading Records will be awarded a variety of grand prizes — including puppets designed by a Jim Henson student. For more information, call the Library at 920.346.2350, or better yet, stop in — and READ YOUR ART OUT!

With the use of annuals and perennials, yes I said perennials; create long lasting color and texture. Just the thing your plant beds need to set them apart from the rest.
